The First Division of the Rugby Union of Rosario

In 1973 there was the beginning of a very important cycle, in which the CAR  won 13 championships followed by the First Division of the  Rugby Union of Rosario . From 1983 on, he returned to participate in the championships of the Argentine Union, moving up from the Pre-classification Division in that year to the First Division in 1987, obtaining the four promotions in a row. In 1986 the centenary of the first rugby match was celebrated, again facing the  Buenos Aires CyRC
In 1904 and 1905 the  CAR  again won the "Competition Cup", contesting the final on both occasions with the  Club Peñarol of Montevideo , great rival of the time, finals also defined in extra time.
In 1905 the  CAR  participated in the founding of the  Rosarina Football League , actively participating in its championships until 1916.
In 1912 the  CAR  intervened in the foundation of the  Argentine Tennis Association . In this sport he gave the country important figures, both nationally and provincially. In 1922 he also participated in the founding of the Tennis Federation of the Province of Santa Fe .

The Club Atlético del Rosario (CAR) is responsible, since the beginning of Argentine sports,  Venue of PSL 2018  the great satisfaction of having initiated and contributed to the practice and dissemination of many of them.
